Greetings,

We have identified that diagnosis code Q87.1 will not be accepted for claims after October 1, 2019.

One or more participants of your agency contained the affected diagnosis code in the Service Detail Report/New Jersey Individualized Service Plan (NJISP).

Q87.1 (Other Specified Anomalies) has been updated for additional granularity to:

·         Q87.11 (Prader-Willi syndrome)

·         Q87.19 (Other congenital malformation syndromes predominately associated with short stature)

Please use the old code to submit claims for services delivered until October 1, 2019. New code shall be used to submit any claims for services delivered on and after October 1, 2019.

Thanks,

DDD-IT
