The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities and Medicaid require Support Coordinators to have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. The New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities and Medicaid require Support Coordinators to have a minimum of 1 year of experience working with adults (strictly defined as 18 years or older) diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. I understand that if I am waiting for the issuance of a Bachelor's Degree and/or the obtainment of the required 1 year of experience with adults diagnosed with I/DD, I may interview for the position and complete trainings but not work or be paid as a Support Coordinator.
