Learning to be Consultants of the NJ Disability System
Government programs can be difficult to understand and follow at times, even though they are made to be accessible. It is often much easier to get the most out of them by having the assistance of trained and caring professionals who have a great deal of experience in navigating through the network. Disability Services & Advocacy, LLC, fills that role for many individuals and families throughout the state with our support coordinators.
We are consultants of the NJ disability system that are well-versed in how to get the most from the services that are available in many programs. Our organization is always attempting to increase our reach throughout the state so that we can help even more people with disabilities.
The main way we increase our support services is by expanding our staff and offering support coordinators jobs for people who wish to make a positive difference in the lives of others. At times, we also provide internships for those who wish to develop skills in this area and eventually move into the field.
These rewarding careers allow coordinators to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families, to effectively locate and make the most of the resources that are offered statewide. Our support coordinator qualifications are based on a solid range of skills combined with initial training and monthly webinars to keep updated on new policies and procedures.
We are not offering Internship opportunities at this time. Please check our website in the future for Internship Program developments.
